Dear Sir,
The National Academy for Training & Research in
Social Security has been conducting the National Workshops for
the Exempted and Uexempted Establishments under Employees’
Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 1952 for the
last several years.
The response for the programme from the industry
has been quite encouraging and almost all of the participants
felt that such programmes should be conducted regularly to
inform the developments in EPF and EPS Administration.
As per the requests of the participants in the earlier
programs, and keeping in view the developments in EPF and EPS
Administration, we have designed a two day National Workshop
for Exempted Establishments on 30th and
31st October, 2008.
We
propose to discuss in the workshop on all relevant issues like:
-
Discussing the provisions of the Act and the Schemes
-
Identify the issues involved in compliance management of
exemption
-
State the nature and periodicity of returns from exempted
establishments
-
Sorting out processes and procedures for better coordination
and cooperation
A copy of programme announcement
and a copy of the Nomination form are enclosed.
The standards of inputs that are provided in the
programme have considerably gone up and the costs of various
services and goods are escalating every day, this requires
enhancement of participation fee, however, keeping in view the
requirement of Exempted Establishments and their interest to
participate in the programme, we have kept the participation
fee of Rs.6,000/- per participant (Rupees Six Thousand
only). This includes course material, boarding and stay.
We request you to sponsor suitable
number of Officers of the Trust in your establishment for the
above workshop.
Your nomination along with the
participation fee by way of a demand draft drawn on any
scheduled bank in favour of National Academy for Training &
Research in Social Security may please be reach preferably
before 10th October 2008 for our further
needful action. Detailed programme announcement and the
