The challenges confronting public managers are becoming increasingly
complex and multifaceted. Their Effective resolution calls for organizations to become responsive and
alert in drawing upon contemporary knowledge and deploying latest
management tools. Organizational leaders will need to hone their skills,
acquire specialized knowledge and change their attitude to keep
pace with the times.
EPF Organization and its leaders and managers need to posses the
analytical ability and decision-making skills to effectively address the
mounting expectations of the stakeholders. NATRSS has a crucial role to
play in the development of human resources. I am happy to note that this
year also the Academy has designed training programmes keeping in view the
emerging challenges. Programmes which are in sync with
Organizational
needs and which would equip the officers with skills for achieving a
smooth implementation of the initiatives being taken by EPFO.
I am sure that these training programmes would help officers become
effective managers and decision makers to fulfill the vision and mission
of the EPF Organization. I believe that these programmes will provide
officers ample opportunity to recharge, re-equip and refresh themselves
to make a definite impact on their performance and in turn on the image of
EPFO as an efficient & vibrant Organisation.
